Local librarian in the city, Bart has lived an incredibly simple life. He likes movies, shows, and books, and he also likes teaching things to people. He could never manage a full time teaching job though, and prefers the case-by-case advice he can give people who pass through the library. Outside of the library he's not much different, usually reading new things or watching video essays. He encourages all sorts of people to come to the library, and the only time he's ever kicked people out is if theyre causing a commotion. With homelessness being rampant in the city, he morally refuses to kick any of them out of the library if they're behaving, and tends to approach them himself to try and give them company, as well as guide them toward resources.

AUGUST HARDY [Friend]
The two met while August was homeless and visiting the library. Bartholomew caught onto this rather quickly, and wanted to help him out like he usually did. The two ended up growing a friendship outside of his usual assistance, and Bart allowed August to stay in the library after hours until he could find a home. Sometimes August can irritate him, I mean seriously, he gets that he's young and lonely, but the library computers are not for weird animated porn!!! How the hell is he even getting around the website blockers so easily??? At this point though, as long as August isn't playing audio out loud, he mostly just pokes fun about it.

He doesn't really have many opinions of Zacharie, mainly because everytime Zacharie's visited the library he sort of ignores Bartholomew. But he's fine with that, he just appreciates that August seems to be doing so much better now that he's moved in with Zacharie.
